I sent $1000 to a family member through Zelle. It was taken from my account immediately.

The transfer failed and I was emailed that it failed, with no explanation, but that it would be returned to my account. I sent the money on October 27th and it is November 3rd and the money has not been returned. My recipient needed this money and now I am not even able to send it at all because it has not been returned to my account. I filed a claim with Zelle and was told it could take TEN BUSINESS days before it can be returned, but even then it is not guaranteed.

I cannot even begin to explain how terrifying and frustrating this is.

Where is my money? It makes absolutely no sense.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.
